ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born and raised in rural Missouri, I realized early on that I appreciated the skills of illustration and animation. Like most youngsters, I enjoyed watching Disney movies, going to baseball games, being with my dogs, and listening to music. All of these have influenced my work as an artist, not only in subject matter, but also in developing a specific artistic style.

After high school, I went to Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design in Denver. There I studied 3D animation and took several illustration courses. As a hard worker and an artist who takes pride in their work, I graduated proudly as Salutatorian of my class. After staying in Denver for another two years, exploring opportunities, I then moved to San Antonio in 2012.

I currently live in Camp Point, IL. I constantly push myself to expand my portfolio as well as maintain and improve my skills. Works in progress include a children’s book, freelance work, and prints for sale.
